John Madler (Nick Cassavetes) is an ambitious, erratic, struggling artist who believes in freedom of artistic expression, forms a dynamic attraction to Allison McKenzie (Brenda Bakke) an affluent young woman from Bel Air who is hoping for an escape from her life.
